TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE tip
TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom
directed by: Richard Canal

August 10, 11 & 12 at 7:30pm, August 13 at 2:30pm, Center Theatre

Tuesdays with Morrie is the beloved stage adaptation of Mitch Albom's autobiographical novel about his conversations with Morrie Schwartz as he was dying from ALS, a neurogenerative disease.

The best-selling memoir Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom comes to life on the Center Stage. This two man show tells the story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished sports journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie's appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Mitch reunites with Morrie, and what initially begins as a one-time visit, turns into a weekly pilgrimage each Tuesday, with laughs and tears in equal measure, it becomes a last class in the meaning of life in the face of death.

Tickets: Members $18.00, Non-Members $20.00, Students $10.00. Doors will open 30 minutes before the show, with a special performance by Lisa Deaton.
