Touch-A-Truck 2023

All ages are invited to Touch-A-Truck on the Sautee Nacoochee Center (SNC) campus, Saturday, April 22 from 10am to 3pm. This free, family-friendly event will feature displays of multiple specialty emergency vehicles, a helicopter fly-in (weather permitting), family support resources and visits from the Night Rider Car, Wonder Woman and Batman, the Chic-fil-a Cow, along with children's activities, demonstrations and more!

Career and volunteer first responders will be on hand to talk about their work and equipment and spread the word about safety and emergency preparedness. White County Public Health and Public Safety and area support service providers will answer questions and offer information.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will demonstrate mountain rescue equipment and techniques. Touch-A-Truck is co-organized by the SNCA Board of Directors and the all-volunteer Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Come honor first responders and spend a few hours having fun and learning about health, safety and emergency resources in our community. All activities are free. Food vendors will be on site. Presentation of colors at 10 AM. The helicopter's arrival is dependent upon the weather.
