Fiber Festival in the Valley is an indoor and outdoor Art and Artisan festival inclusive of all fiber art and fiber art subjects. Our goal is to expose and inspire the artist and general public to create artwork through the use and education of the fiber process in traditional and non-traditional applications.

The Fiber Festival takes place over two days on the SNC campus. Friday is dedicated to workshops taught by local fiber artists. Saturday and Sunday are all about fun. With vendors from near and far, demonstrations of fiber art skills, fiber animals such as rabbits, alpaca and sheep, along with music, food vendors and two raffles, Fiber Fest is an event for all ages!

Volunteer Roles

Workshop Information

  • Read all information carefully
  • All workshops will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 on the campus of the Sautee Nacoochee Center
  • Morning workshops begin at 9am. Afternoon workshops begin 1pm
  • Payment of class fee is required at time of registration to hold your place in a workshop. Refunds will be given only if we are notified 2 weeks prior to class date.
  • When you register online, you will receive a credit card receipt for the class(es).
  • Classes will fill on a first come first served basis. You will receive an email notifying you of acceptance of registration.
  • Supply fee will be collected by the instructor on the day of the workshop.
  • There will be a welcome tent where you will check in and find the location of your class. There will be people to assist with unloading, if needed.
  • Lunch will be noon - 1pm. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and join us between workshops!
