Below are the currently open volunteer opportunities at SNCA. We invite you to explore the possibilities. You are also invited to the Volunteer Interest Lunch held the first Wednesday of each month, 1-2pm. Bring a sandwich and your questions. We'll supply dessert or snacks and drinks!

Making Fabric Gift Bags

Volunteers are always needed to make our lovely fabric gift bags. Visitors to our Galleries are thrilled when their purchase is handed to them. Do you have a sewing group or craft club that needs a project?

Fabric is available at the SNC Gallery Gift Shop for making the bags.

event: Sautee Lunch & Learn
Tuesday, Oct 4, 10am - 2:30pm

Sautee Lunch & Learn is a very popular program that includes potluck lunch, camaraderie, and special speakers who elaborate on all manner of topics. Volunteers are needed as greeters and for the set up beforehand and clean up afterwards.  Learn more

This fundraising gala pulls out all the stops with a Cabernet Cabaret, a fun evening for guests and volunteers!  Learn more

event: Trunk or Treat
Friday, Oct 31

Trunk or Treat is the annual Haloween fun family event on the lawn of the center. Dress up your car and yourself to enjoy the festivities! Details TBA.  Learn more

ongoing need: Ushers at Performances

Performances include plays and concerts in the Centre Theater or the Historic Gym. Volunteers who usher get free admission and a seat will be reserved for them. See the Billboard for upcoming performances.  Learn more

ongoing need: Sautee Contra Dances

It's a night of great music and lots of dancing. As a volunteer, you join the community in building something good, something of value, something that brings joy and cooperation to the world.  Learn more

ongoing need: Native Peace Garden

The Native Peace Garden is located behind the Sautee Post Office. Volunteers work in teams to prepare the garden for the changing seasons.  Learn more
