YOUTH CLASSES AND EVENTS

The Center has always placed great importance on programs for the younger members of the community - classes and activities in the visual and performing arts. Young creative spirits need to be nurtured in the notion that creativity is not a secondary part of a well rounded life but an essential element at its very core.

Check out the activities listed below and sign up by calling the center at 706-878-3300.

Nova Marie Adams
Scholarship Fund

The Nova Marie Adams Scholarship Fund is in memory of Nova Marie Adams who was involved in youth arts programs at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center between 2013 and 2019. The fund provides financial assistance to children, through age 17, who want to participate in youth programs at SNC but whose families do not have the necessary financial resources.

Tutoring in Sautee

Learning "For Real" with Elizabeth Jaskolski, a certified teacher of elementary and middle school students, will be available for tutoring at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center.

Due to Covid-19 and subsequent absence of direct in-school teaching, most students will have many educational gaps, making individual assessment necessary to identify those gaps. Thereafter, small groups of 4 to 6 students with similar needs will be formed to successfully remediate and bring students back to grade level.

Call Elizabeth at 706-514-0301 or 706-212-8585 for more information and to schedule an appointment for your child's assessment.
