FACE JUG WORKSHOP

Come make your own folk pottery! During a two hour workshop, you will learn how to decorate a jug with faces like a true folk potter. After your sculpting session, your wares will be fired with an alkaline glaze and you will be notified when they are ready to be picked up. Price includes class, materials, and firing.
Two separate workshops are scheduled.

Have you always wanted to learn the techniques for creating a stunning floral arrangement? Here is your chance to be taught by a master! Sidney Martin has spent 30+ years in the floral industry providing beautiful arrangements for weddings, parties, events, television and movie productions, and magazines. He is currently the lead designer at Soireé's Southern Events and Weddings in Clermont, GA.
During the workshop Sidney will be teaching valuable skills necessary to produce a beautiful holiday centerpiece that you will be making and taking with you to add to your own holiday decor. This is a perfect opportunity to gain this special knowledge that you can enjoy forever as you create your own masterpieces.

COMMUNITY MEDITATION
COMMUNITY MEDITATION with Eric Graves
Meditation is said to be mind's gift to itself. In this 15-to-20-minute guided meditation beginners as well as advanced practitioners will use breath, visualization, and mantra to rest in the nature of mind. A brief introductory talk will be given for those new to meditation and/or curious about basic Buddhist principles. We will have a few available cushions but bringing your own can only help. Bring your supplies, what you want to paint and join the camaraderie of other local artists. There is not a set fee for these classes. However, donations are welcome.
