Performing Arts

The Sautee Nacoochee Center has a strong and active performing arts schedule and offers a full yearly billboard of both established, top notch, visiting talent and impressive, polished local talent that always makes us proud. The productions run from drama, and musical theater, to traditional and modern ballet, stand up comedy, and children's theater. Click on the BILLBOARD graphic to view scheduled performances.

When it comes to music we share the best in blues, jazz, local and faraway folk, pop and even classical. Our own Children's Theater, Dance Groups, Shubert Alley in the Valley and Valley Harmony Radio Show give community members a chance to strut their stuff. Whether you're on the stage or in the audience you'll have a great time.

Discovery Tours

Discovery Tours are available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Tour guides will conduct 45 minute tours in the galleries encouraging an informal "front porch" type discussion designed to unearth the unique talents of artists in the Appalachian Foothills of Georgia.

Discovery Tours begin at 1 pm in the Folk Pottery Museum with a focus on the current exhibit. At 2 pm, the tour will move to our Twin Center Galleries to view a wide array of original, one-of-a-kind art by local artists. Visitors will enjoy art demonstrations and discussions in various art mediums conducted by artists represented in our current juried show.
