YOUTH CLASSES AND EVENTS

The Center has always placed great importance on programs for the younger members of the community - classes and activities in the visual and performing arts. Young creative spirits need to be nurtured in the notion that creativity is not a secondary part of a well rounded life but an essential element at its very core.

SAUTEE STARS: A CHRISTMAS CAROL
SAUTEE STARS: A CHRISTMAS CAROLDirector Jessi Reed

Sautee Stars is excited to announce that we will be producing a retelling of Dickens' classic tale, A Christmas Carol, this holiday season! Ebenezer Scrooge finds himself on a journey of discovery and growth when he is visited by three Spirits, but did you know these Spirits have a sense of humor? Even Ebenezer surprises us with his sense of humor, and Tiny Tim's propensity to annoy could be a bigger problem than his crippled leg!

Your holiday season will sparkle with the tradition, fun, and buoyant spirit of kindness and generosity in Ebenezer's Christmas Carol.

Auditions will be held the first day of class with cold readings from the script. Every child in the class will receive a roll in the show. For questions contact Jessi Reed at jreed@snca.org.
