BEGINNING WATERCOLOR CLASS
BEGINNING WATERCOLOR CLASSInstructor Becky Peebles
Have you always wanted to paint in watercolor but are afraid to try? Did you hear that watercolor is "unforgiving"? Not so! This class is designed specifically for beginners. You will quickly learn that many "myths" about watercolor are not true. It is relaxing and, well, fun, and therapeutic!
My technique of teaching is non-academic. You will learn all the "theory" as you paint. Our goal is, first of all, to enjoy yourself while you are "playing in the paint", you will be surprised at how much you will learn! Every other class will begin with a demo or mini-lesson, after which you will work on your individual painting with hands-on help.
This is an on-going class, which means we will meet every Tuesday from 1:00-4:00pm, year round. Each class is independent from the other so that if you have to miss, you are not behind. You will pay only for the classes you attend, so feel free to drop in for a single class or join the group weekly for as long as you wish.Dates: every TuesdayTime: 1:00 till 4:00pmPlace: Center Art StudioCost: $35 per sessionRegistrationDeadline: On-going

Each demo is independent of the one before and after... you are never behind, even if you miss a class. The sessions in which there is no demo are to allow students to develop individual style with hands-on guidance.
