Chorale for our fabulous and popular
holiday concerts! The dates are Friday and
Saturday, December 9 and 10 at 8 p.m., and
Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. The Chorale
has been hard at work rehearsing for this
concert since the end of August, and our
50 singers love nothing more than sharing
this beautiful music with a theatre full of
people. We have some beautiful new pieces
to put you in the holiday spirit—a gorgeous
setting of Christina Rossetti’s poem In the
Bleak Midwinter, Count Your Blessings
Instead of Sheep (from White Christmas),
Christmas Island (recorded by the
Andrews Sisters and Guy Lombardo), and
a delightful medley of German Christmas
carols accompanied by a handchime choir!
Tickets for the concert are $14 or $8 for SNCA
members,
and
children under 17 are just $4.
If you come to the Saturday evening
performance, consider joining us for
dinner prior to the concert! A delicious
meal including Roasted Pork Loin
with Cranberry Dressing, Green Bean
Almondine, and Pecan Pie will be served
in the Community Hall for a cost of
$12. Coffee and iced tea will be served
but please feel free to bring your favorite
beverage as well. Many thanks to Lloyd
Summer for planning and preparing this
meal as a fundraiser for the Chorale.
Call the Sautee Nacoochee Center box
office at 706-878-3300 or reserve your tickets online for the
concert and this special meal!
