Enjoy Two Creative Exhibits at the Center Gallery
“Out of the Woods—Earthday,” April 4–May 18
“Native America Show,” May 23–July 6

What could be coming out of the woods? Another exciting gallery show, of course! “Out of the Woods — Earthday,” featuring the wood turners, wood carvers and other talented artists who create using wood, will be the next exhibit in The Center Gallery beginning on April 4th and extending through May 18th. Also in the show will be paintings and other works of art depicting a woods related theme. Creative surprises are guaranteed for this new exhibit!

A gallery reception for the “Out of the Woods — Earthday” Show will be held Saturday, April 19th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in conjunction with the Evening Star concert. The public is invited to attend and meet the artists.

Following the “Out of the Woods” Show, the gallery will present a “Native America Show” featuring Paula Van Huss collages and paintings. This exhibit will run from May 23rd through July 6th. A special section of the show will highlight works of art on display by the SNCA Art Studio students upon their return from a “Sautee to Tuscany” trip to Italy.

The artists’ reception for the “Native America Show” is scheduled for May 23rd from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the SNCA conference room. As with all gallery receptions, the public is welcome to come meet the artists, view the art in the gallery and enjoy light refreshments.

The Center Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. There is no admission charge to enjoy the gallery.
