ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

Ginny King, Sautee School of Dance Director, is trained extensively in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Bellydance, and various other dance forms. She has appeared on Broadway, cruise ships, national tours and cabarets in the U.S. and abroad. She directed her own dance company in Atlanta for 15 years. Specializing in professional dance entertainment for theme parties, Ms. Ginny has become an expert on a wide variety of crowd-pleasing retro-pop styles. Her company performed everything from re-creations of Isadora Duncan's dances to Saturday Night Fever 70's Disco. She especially loves the cancan and roaring twenties dance styles. Ms. Ginny maintains a huge collection of spectacular high-quality dance costumes in both adult and youth sizes. She hopes to create enough well-trained teen and adult dancers to present some really great shows for the community.

Jessi Evans teaches the Starbright: Creative Movement class and the Sautee Stars Children's Theater class at SNCA. Ms. Jessie has enjoyed directing the Sautee Stars and other performances, as well as acting with various theater companies in the region. She is delighted to be joining the team of Headwaters again this year as costumer. Ms. Jessie lives in Sautee Nacoochee Valley with her two-year-old son, Josiah.
