"Celebrating Appalachian Life"
July 9th to August 15th
The twin galleries and the hallways at the Sautee Nacoochee Center will be
filled with an array of art featuring and honoring arts and crafts
indicative of our area and culture.
Beginning July 9 and extending through August 15 the galleries will host the
exhibit "Celebrating Appalachian Life". Paintings, basketry, wood art,
pottery, fiber art, jewelry, glass art and rustic furniture will take main
stage in this special exhibit.
The top award winners from the 62nd Quinlan Exhibition will be the
invitational artists. Peter Loonam, who won Best of Show award, and Connie
Reilly, who captured the First Place award, will both exhibit their unique
styles of paintings in the South Hallway exhibit. Other invitational folk
art in the hallways should prove popular with the visitors to SNCA.
